Each year, Columbus Landmarks honors individuals and institutions that have made exceptional strides in promoting historic preservation and producing quality urban design in central Ohio. Landmarks bestows seven awards, including our President's Award and the prestigious James B. Recchie Design Award. 

Our annual Awards Program will be held Thursday, October 14th at the location of our 2009 James B. Recchie Design Award winner  - The Ohio State University’s newly renovated and expanded William Oxley Thompson Library at 1858 Neil Avenue. The event will take place in the West Reading Room on the second floor and will start promptly at 5:45 with wine and hors d’oeuvres. President Gordon Gee will be present to greet us and the program will commence at 6:15. We will conclude the Awards Program with dessert and champagne at 8pm.
 
Tickets for the reception and program are $65. A discount package of 4 tickets for $240 is also available. Students with identification are welcome and may attend for $10.  Nominations for the James B. Recchie Design Award and our other preservation awards are open and encouraged from the general public.  Nominations can be submitted and tickets purchased at www.columbuslandmarks.org or by calling 614-221-4508.

Parking for the event is available in the Neil Avenue Garage.  Take Neil Avenue north until it dead-ends near Mirror Lake (north of 12th Ave.), make a left and you'll see the entrance to the garage. Drivers coming from the north will need to make their way to 12th or King in order to get to Neil Ave.  This garage is not accessible to Neil Ave. if you are north of the library. Cost: $2 per hour for the first three hours and $1/hour after that. If people arrive after 6 pm then it's a $5 flat rate.
